Lots of people find the idea of networking difficult. Some thoughts you might have are 'but I hate talking to people I don't know!' or 'it's embarrassing asking for a job!' or 'what if I say the wrong thing?!' The good news is if you do networking right then these worries would not be a concern because networking is not about just asking for something! The 14th - 18th of March is National Apprenticeship Week and is a good time to consider whether an apprenticeship might be a good route for you. You will earn money, gain experience and a qualification and there are thousands to choose from at all different levels including up to degree and masters.
